Dear Supporters of Rail Transit,
It is true that the roads of Hawaii will be more congested in the future, and that our traffic jams have been ranked one of the worst in the country. If a rail transit is built, it would be able to hold 300 passengers and take about 25,000 vehicles off the road each day. The H-1 Freeway may eventually be inadequate for the projected population growth of Hawaii.
But is a rail transit really the right answer? Just building it will cost 3.7 billion dollars. The profit the transit makes may eventually reach that much money to equal out the cost of making it, but when? Our economy is already in a recession. How do you know people are even going to ride the transit? Most of the island already have cars, so why would they not ride in something they've paid a lot of money for, just to ride in a rail transit that will save half an hour of their time?
How will the rail be convenient as well? There is no way you can stuff a rail transit in crowded neighborhoods and streets. It would be a considerable walking distance from most homes just to get to the transit. People now-a-days still use their cars to drive to places that are very nearby. The rail transit may be a creative idea, but certainly not the best solution.

I think it is very clear that you think that the rail tranist is a bad idea and you do a good job of showing it. It is obvious that you care about the subject and are well educated about it.
At the end your paper kind of just ended. I think you need to work on your conclusion instead of just saying "the rail transit may be a creative idea, but certainly not the best solution." Besides that I liked your paper.

I think that rail transit is bad to. Haha just letting you know. Any ways i think that it is good that you put the good and then bad things about the rail transit. I like how you said that it will cost 3.7 billion dollars beacuse money is a extremely big think nowadays. I like how you also said that people already have cars. I think that you could add how certain people on diffrent islands have to pay taxxes for this project even though they will probably never use it in their life. I saw no gramatical errors. the end.

I think you have picked a good topic, if it affects you personally. That is where you need to revise. Right now, it sounds like a newspaper editorial. The angry letter is something to which you are personally committed. So you need to add personal anecdotes and connections to the issue.
